Whoopi Goldberg To Attend Life Ball As VIP

It has been announced that Whoopi Goldberg, along with Bill Clinton, were the first two VIP guests invited to the 2010 Life Ball.  Celebrities that have accepted the honor in the past include, Liza Minilli, Elton John, and Sharon Stone.

Life Ball is “Europe’s largest and most spectacular annual charity event dedicated to raising money in the worldwide fight against HIV and AIDS.”  Last year the event raised nearly 1.5 million Euros.

Organized by AIDS LIFE, the 2010 Life Ball will take place in Vienna July 17th & 18th.  The North American tour operator Steele Luxury Travel offers a Vienna Life Ball extravaganza package.   The Australia-run Hautes Vacances also offers a ticket package for the event.
